Today I read a short story in the Oprah Magazine about a man who had died. Many of his friends rallied around to do special things with him. One friend took him to Provincetown and walked the beach with him. "Walking slowly through the fog on the beach in the very early morning she said, We will always remember this day. And Jason, who was pretty well practiced by then, said, I am remembering it now."
This moved me and made me think do I take advantage of each thing I do and see it as a gift and "remember" them? Do you? What a profound statement Jason comment was. What a great gift life is and each day brings us close to death. Savor the moment!
